Common pain points at this resolution include frame-time instability when draw distance and shadows are left on high in populated zones, long load times on mechanical drives, and the temptation to crank every setting only to discover that the aging engine still struggles with certain particle and shadow combinations. Many players also underestimate how much RAM and CPU cache help keep gameplay smooth once addons and multiple background applications are running. Before choosing a PC it is important to understand that ESO rewards balanced hardware more than single-component overkill: a strong GPU for 1440p visuals paired with a responsive CPU and fast storage usually delivers a more consistent experience than an ultra-high-end GPU paired with last-generation components.
